Group Medical Visits
Group visits often include patients with a common condition (such as diabetes) who meet as a group with one of our providers as an additional method to manage a medical condition or make a lifestyle change. These visits allow patients to have face-to-face contact with their provider, learn and practice health information, and create systems for support and motivation. We offer a variety of groups for patients. Check out our classes currently offered here.
Community Wellness Classes
Community wellness classes are classes offered for anyone in the community (being a patient is not required!). Classes are free and drop in- so come any time you want! Check out our free community classes here.
Integrative Medicine Consults
What is an integrative medicine consult?
Integrative medicine (IM) is a healing-oriented medicine that takes the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) into account, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient and makes use of all appropriate, evidence-based therapies, both conventional and complementary.
In an IM consult, we will discuss many aspects of a patient’s life including: diet/nutrition, movement/exercise, sources of stress, stress reduction practices, social support, meaning and purpose, and spirituality. Our recommendations will address each of these areas and may include suggestions of mind-body therapies, complementary modalities like acupuncture, herbs, or supplements.

Health Coaching and Nutrition Consults
In a health and nutrition consult, patients can work with a health coach to set health goals and develop a personalized plan for a healthy lifestyle that makes them feel good! Sessions take into account all parts of a patient’s lifestyle, including diet/nutrition, exercise, stress, sleep and more, and allow the patient to work on changes that are relevant and important to getting them to become their best self.
