David Freedman, MD, is a board-certified Family Physician who has spent the majority of career practicing medicine in underserved Chicago communities. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed his Family Practice residency at Cook County Hospital. He also completed a Preventive Medicine residency at Carney Hospital in Massachusetts and Boston University School of Public Health.
David’s professional interests include public health, caring for the underserved, preventive medicine, nutrition, integrated primary care and behavioral health. He joined Heartland Health Centers in 2011. He is also a certified Civil Surgeon as of 2012.
